Practice being Grateful daily to be more Happy

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and families this year are struggling to maintain their traditions amidst the pandemic restrictions.  One of the traditions my family had as a kid was to go around the table and say what we were thankful for.

Why wait to do this once a year?

Did you know the more you practice gratitude the more likely you are to be happy? Be happy with whatever your situation is at the given moment.  Live for today and not in the past stories or waiting to live for when something else happens.  Why not just be grateful for being?  Try it!  Keep a daily gratitude journal.  I like to practice gratitude in the evenings while I’m doing my nighttime routine.  It helps me reduce stress and practice being mindful.
